Frogs of the Amazon

Frogs live all over the world and are among the most diverse creatures, with more than 6,000 species, showing up and showing off in an amazing array of sizes, abilities and colors. Of the the 6,000 species, nearly 1,000 that we know of live in the Amazon Rainforest. Who knows how many of these remarkable amphibians we have not met yet.

Sadly, the rainforest, the habitat for these frogs and thousands more species, is being destroyed at an alarming rate. And learn about a little change you can make in your everyday life to help preserve these beautiful creatures’ habitat.
